FP Mailing History
FP Mailing, more commonly referred to as FP Mailing in the UK, have been supplying their products to the UK since 1923, and over the past 20 years the UK simply know them as FP Mailing. However, the company Francotyp Postalia was not created until 1983.
FP Mailing started of in 1923, when the company Francotyp were established in Bielefeld. Postalia were later established in 1938 in Frankfurt. In 1983, these two separate companies became one to become Francotyp Postalia.
In 1994, the company’s headquarters in Berlin & Offfenbach were moved to Birkenwerder, where over 40,000 machines are manufactured every year.
The UK FP Mailing subsidiary was created in 1992 and they are located in Dartford, Kent. Here, over 70 members of staff are employed. The Asia Pacific subsidiary was later created in 2009 when FP Mailing, referred to as Francotyp-Postalia Asia Pte Ltd in Asia, located in Singapore.
